   * doc/Makefile.am (pod2texi.texi), doc/tta_api/Makefile.am (texi2any_internals.texi): add TEXINFO_XS=omit to the environement such that pod2texi does not fail even if the XS modules are not built already.  This happens with make distcheck after make maintainer-clean.
